  • The Late Arthur Szliter

    Since 1946, H.J. Oldenkamp has ranked among the nation’s largest distributors of specialty home building products including Formica and Corian. Arthur Szliter joined H.J. Oldenkamp in 1962, where he quickly rose to become the president and sole owner for nearly three decades. In 1991, he sold his interest to his loyal employees to focus on residential development and home building. Art went on to form Arteva Homes with Vito Terracciano and his son Brian Szliter, where under his leadership the partners used their collective industry experience, long-term supplier relationships, and creative drive to build lifestyle centered developments with cutting-edge custom homes and condominiums. By using the guiding principles Art instilled upon them, Brian and Vito are continuing Art’s legacy of excellence by focusing on the customer and constructing high quality homes through artistry and innovation.

  • Vito Terracciano

    Vito Terracciano, CEO

    Vito Terracciano is a licensed builder in the state of Michigan with more than 30 years of experience in the new home construction industry. He is the builder of record of custom luxury homes located across Michigan, from Bloomfield Hills to Bay Harbor and Grand Rapids to Florida and beyond. Vito has developed expertise in managing the demands of concurrent and complicated projects. Vito was also featured in Dbusiness and Hour Detroits 2015 “Faces of Detroit”.

  • Brian Szliter

    Brian Szliter, COO

    Brian Szliter has held positions in supply chain logistics management and is a skilled leader of complex team projects. A Michigan State University graduate with a BS in microbiology, he went on to Wayne State University where he received an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and finance. Brian is a licensed builder in the state of Michigan and the recipient of the 2013 Young Builder of the Year Award, along with being featured as a standout in Dbusiness’s 2014 30 in their 30’s and 2015 “Faces of Detroit” for Dbusiness and Hour Detroit.

  • Explore all your options then choose the design right for you from our collection of single-family home plans or our detached and duet style condominiums.

  • Our easy-to-understand pricing program will allow us to quickly establish the price of your new home based on the options and selections you would like your new home to have. At this no-obligation price quote, you will have the opportunity of choosing from more than 100 standard and optional conveniences. All items will be explained in detail, with no hidden costs, and no unwelcome surprises!

  • Upon deciding that an Arteva home is the right choice for you, reserve your home site and begin the process of constructing your dream home. You will receive your Arteva New HOMEOWNER Packet, which describes the Arteva Advantage Warranty Program and will help answer questions you may not have thought to ask!

  • Arteva Homes has worked with several experienced mortgage companies and we can recommend a mortgage broker that can meet your needs. They are eager to meet with you and begin the application and approval process.

  • Review our selections area to confirm the choices made at your initial price quote and see many other customized features from which you may choose. This is also your opportunity to choose the colors, products, and materials that will define the character of your new home.

  • The final meeting before we begin building your brand new Arteva home. At this meeting you will meet your Arteva Building Coordinator and we will review all the details related to your new home.

  • We believe the key to any strong relationship is communication. Lots of it. So you can expect to hear from your Building Coordinator on a regular basis throughout the construction process. A pre-drywall meeting with your Building Coordinator will address any questions you may have as your new home takes shape.

  • Your Arteva Building Coordinator will accompany you on a final inspection to ensure that every detail of your new home lives up to the same high standards of quality and craftsmanship that you found in our model homes. Operating and maintenance procedures for all systems will be reviewed prior to handing over the keys.

  • A day to celebrate! Our commitment to quality continues with the initiation of your Arteva Advantage 10 Year Home Warranty. Now it’s time to place the furniture, hang the pictures and say to yourself confidently: “It’s good to be home!”
