Arteva Homes participated in the Habitat for Humanity Builder Blitz 2006.

(http://www.habitat.org/newsroom/2006archive/06_05_2006_HBB_National_Rls.aspx) Nationwide more than 400 new homes were built from the generous help of home builders, suppliers, contractors and numerous volunteers. Arteva Homes organized the construction of a new home in Roseville, MI for Sherese Halloway. Construction of her home began on Monday, June 5th and was completed on Friday June 9th. Sherese, along with her 9 year old daughter and 2 year old niece, was extremely excited and grateful to finally own her very own home.

Several local building material suppliers and contractors from the community donated time and building materials in order to complete Sherese's house in 4 days! As required by Habitat for Humanity Sherese had to put in 250 hours of "sweat equity" to help complete her house, as well as the homes of others in the community, in order to qualify for her own home.

Arteva Homes would like to thank Daniel Wiiki for the opportunity to participate in this year's Habitat for Humanity project. Daniel is the Macomb area Director for Habitat for Humanity and worked tirelessly in order to make this year's Habitat for Humanity build a success.
